Voluntary Sector

The voluntary sector, also known as the independent sector, or civic sector concerns the activity of non-governmental nonprofit organisations. The goal often is to enrich society without monetary gain and with little to no government interference. This sector is sometimes referred to as the third sector, community sector, or nonprofit sector.
