Compliance

Compliance means adhering to all relevant local and global legal requirements. In the context of whistleblowing solutions this may include whistleblowing, data security and data protection laws.

Since Walor only hosts data on EU-based servers, any data we store for you is fully GDPR compliant - one less thing to worry about. Data is automatically deleted according to the time limits set out by the GDPR.

Security

For us it is paramount to ensure that all system components are secure. This includes application codes, databases, configurations and third-party libraries, as well as any potential weak points inside and outside the application.

Encryption (End-to-end)

Walor achieves top marks for our secure end-to-end encryption, as well as for using the strongest encryption algorithms and secure conditions when it comes to security keys.

ISO27001

Security, anonymity and trust are core foci for Walor and all our products. This reflects on our approach to hosting data, which is ISO27001 certified. Our information security management system (ISMS) ensures clear processes and accountability across all levels, to safeguard confidential data from misuse, loss and inappropriate access.

Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Prevention is better than treatment. Walor includes an extra level of security for our whistleblower platform, where login with two-factor authentication is the standard.

Personal Data Protection

Data confidentiality means keeping all parties’ data secure, whether it's in the system or in transit over the network. This includes not only encryption, but also legal requirements like where data is hosted, who has access to it, and how requests for access to that data are handled.

Anonymity

Walor's whistleblower platform allows for anonymous reporting. In addition to complete anonymity for the whistleblower, Walor also enables a dialogue between whistleblowers, case handlers and external experts. The platform does not apply tracking mechanisms on users.

Privacy by Design

Walor's platform has been developed according to the Privacy by Design principle, which requires IT infrastructure to be designed in a way that ensures effective implementation of fundamental data protection principles, such as lawfulness, fairness and transparency.
